It is love this time, McDonald fast food mega chain will be using the old and tested love focused ad campaign to boost its sagging careers. Well Love is already in the air in the present ad of the multistate food chain which reads “I’m Lovin’ It” slogan. McDonald will be highlighting the “lovin’” aspect of the campaign. It has been a year of slumping sales and McDonald wants to turnaround with the power of love behind it.
Following a year of slumping sales, McDonald’s is banking on the power of love to spur a turnaround. U.S. Chief Marketing Officer Deborah Wahl calls it “a brand transformation.”
Wahl says, “This new focus will inspire everything we do moving forward, from advertising and marketing to how we interact with customers in restaurants and on social media.”
The writing was already on the wall and McDonald’s had to do something very soon. It was a tough year with falling sales and to stop the slide, the food chain giant chopped off many confusing menu while adding healthier and fresher food.
The latest television ads as well as online ads will start appearing in the coming weekend. The company had also posted online a new spot which contained an assortment of odd couples- a knight and a dragon, Road Runner and Wile E. Coyote all comfortable with one another and sharing a meal at McDonald’s.

“Lately, the balance of lovin’ and hatin’ seems off,” Wahl said in a video posted online by the company.
“Who better to stand up for lovin’ than McDonald’s? Lovin’ sits at the heart of our tagline and it sits at the heart of our business.”
The exact budget for the latest ad blitzkrieg is not known.
