A blessing for gamers has come in an unique form, as Deus Ex: Mankind Divided gets a release date and pre-order prizes that have broken from the common rules. Square Enix and Ubisoft have come up with an interesting way of making fans of the franchise reach more quickly for the pre-order option.
The sequel to the highly praised and popular Deus Ex: Human Revolution will be coming on February 23rd of 2016, so fans of the now-franchise are encouraged to mark their calendars. Or, if you want to pre-order the greatly anticipated videogame, the developers are offering a few prizes that make the idea of pre-ordering more attractive.
There will be five tiers in total, depending on the number of pre-orders the action RPG gets. As the numbers grow, so do players advance through the tiers, until they might successfully arrive at the ultimate reward. Every tier has its own bonus, which becomes more rewarding as more games are pre-ordered.
The first tier has been unlocked today, on August 31st, for every gamer who pre-ordered Deus Ex: Mankind Divided six months in advance. They will benefit from a starter’s pack that cater to the different styles of players, and choose between stealth, aggressive and nostalgic.
The second tier, if reached, will unlock one item per buyer, which will allow them to choose between a digital art book that fully displays the stunning aesthetics of the futuristic game, or a digital sample of the official soundtrack, including six songs from award winning composer, Michael McCann.
The third tier is when things become a bit more interesting in-game, as it will unlock the “Desperate Measures” mission, which will feature the protagonist Adam Jensen returning to the bombed sight of the Ruzicka Train Station to find the culprit.
The fourth tier will once again have players choosing between two possible prizes. a digital comic that delves deeper into the game’s conspiracies, or a digital novella that reveals previously unknown details about first game’s, Deus Ex: Human Revolution, key characters.
The fifth tier is where it’s all at, the grand prize that can only be touched if enough players pre-order the highly anticipated game. If the mark has been reached, gamers who have already assured themselves a copy of the game, will also benefit from their order 4 days before it officially releases.
Now, it all depends on how big of an incentive each tier in part will prove itself to be, and more importantly, how impatient fans of the first highly acclaimed game are to get their hands on the sequel of the futuristic first-person action RPG.
