If you like the ‘Where’s Waldo?’ series, you can give it a shot with the find the panda illustration challenge that has been going viral over the internet since it was posted.
- The illustration challenge was created by Gergely Dudás, also known by Dudolf
- It was posted on December 16th
- So far, the challenge gained 75,000 likes and 143,000 shares on Facebook
Hungarian artist by the name of Gergely Dudás, also known as Dudolf, posted a holiday-themed illustration on December 16th. It included hundreds of hand-drawn snowmen with one black and white panda among them. The challenge was simple: find the panda.
Within the sea of illustrated snowmen, there’s a black and white bear around there. Some found it in a matter of seconds, others are still looking. But, trust us, it’s there. Once you spot the panda, you cannot remove its presence from your sight. The challenge’s popularity is understandable considering the only bits of colors that go into the picture.
Plus, it’s holiday themed.
The challenge has recently gone viral over the internet, with hundreds of thousands of people asking their friends to spot the odd man (or bear) out. So far, the festive teaser has gained 75,000 likes on Facebook, and 143,000 shares. It’s clearly making its way and spreading onto Twitter as well, before it will likely go on to conquer other social media platforms.
Dudás has posted numerous other illustrations on his blog, but none have proved to be so popular. Perhaps it’s the theme or just the fact that the snowmen’s expressions make it much more harder to spot the panda among them. He also added a few spots of color to draw enough attention from the monochromatic bear. It’s proven to be a successful way to distract from the actual target.
Users have gone online to joke, tease, brag, or just voice out their resignation and ask others where the black and white bear is. But, it’s definitely there. Next to the snowman, obviously.
Perhaps it’s not precisely risen to the popularity of ‘Where’s Waldo?’, but it’s certainly interesting how something so simple can go viral in a matter of days. Maybe you have already seen it or challenged others to do it. If not, now’s your chance.
SPOILER ALERT if you’ve given up searching by yourself, here’s the solution: it’s between the snowman with the black top hat and the one with the light green and yellow hat. Look diagonally and it’s there.
