Game of Thrones season finale from last Sunday delivered some epic scenes. One of the most explosive events was how the Night King rode Daenerys’s undead dragon. This way, he brought down the ancient Wall in a matter of minutes. However, Reddit community did it again by spotting a precious clue hid in plain sight that connects Bran to Stark to the leader of White Walkers.
Final Scene Reveals the Undead Army Forming the Stark Crest
Reddit user sannybop was the first to notice something strange with the last scene in The Dragon and the Wolf. While most viewers bid their farewell from the successful HBO TV show for at least one year, the Reddit member paid closer attention to the undead army. After the Night King melts the Wall like a mere Popsicle with his undead dragon, thousands of hundreds of wights start marching beyond this collapsed border.
However, as the Others casually enter Westeros, an aerial view over their heads surprises a vague symbol. The bodies of the wights seem to form the shape of the Stark Crest which is the profile of a direwolf.
The Clue Might Indicate that Bran Stark Is the Same Person as the Night King
This discovery can be a valuable clue that supports a Game of Thrones theory that sounds extremely implausible, yet it hits the unpredictable style of this show. This scenario suggests that as the Three-Eyed Raven, Bran will travel in the past and warn Aegon Targaryen about the future. The Stark boy will try to make the king stop the invasion of White Walkers before it even begins.
Therefore, Aegon will start putting the White Walkers on fire. However, with this strategy failed, he will construct the Wall as Bran the Builder. The Stark boy will then go back to where the Children of the Forrest created the first White Walker.
However, before Bran even has the chance to explain them the situation, the mystical creatures will stab him with the dragonglass dagger into his heart. This is how Bran becomes the Night King, ruler over White Walkers and wights.
So, why would Bran Stark want to raise an army of undead and conquer humans’ land? There are several possible answers. Maybe he finds that it is impossible to change his fate. Maybe Bran believes humans’ quarrels for a throne are insignificant yet causing too much damage in their path. Therefore, people lost any reason for living in Bran’s eyes.
