Nintendo has just revealed that on November 15th, the mega Yarn Yoshi will join the crew of amiibo figures already made available by the game maker. The wool bundle of cuteness is now supersized for Wii U players to enjoy and control while interacting with the colorful game to be released later this year.
Amiibo are essentially figures or dolls released by company, which are able to successfully interact with the videogames, acting as controllers. They fit in perfectly with Nintendo’s theme of interactive entertainment and wonderfully fun experiences.
Yoshi’s Woolly World will come out on October 15th in the United States, so Nintendo will be releasing the game’s interactive figure precisely a month later. The mega Yarn Yoshi is reportedly the size of the gamepad itself, though the price seems to be proportionally bigger as well.
While the standard Yarn Yoshi, to be varied in green, pink and blue, will be found with the price tag of $17, its much larger counterpart will reportedly come at a retail price of $40, which means it will be cheaper to buy two standard size than the mega sized wool figure.
It’s an option to keep in mind, in spite of Nintendo’s reluctance to make it available as a bundle. The standard sized Yarn Yoshi will be sold at $60 along with the game, which might just be the most cost-efficient option. However, it comes without the extra snuggle factor of the Yoshi-zilla like counterpart.
The amiibo figure of Mario and Luigi’s brightly colored dinosaur pal will set to flawlessly interact with the game, so it all matters which size will better fit your needs. Both will imply the same functionality and no new features have been reported for the bigger figure, other than the fact that it’s much larger to up the cuteness factor.
The woolly controller doll will wirelessly interact with any compatible Wii U game, that is set to make your experience more enjoyable and fun in the form of an adorable figurine of the friendly dinosaur well known among Nintendo fans.
It will be available for purchase on November 15th in the United States, and November 27th in Europe.
However, a confirmation from the popular game maker has announced that another amiibo will be hitting the markets sooner. Mewtwo, for example, will launch on November 13th, and Falco a bit later, on November 20th, both to be priced at $13. All the more cuter ways to interact with your Nintendo games.
