The upcoming fifth installment of the stealth-action franchise, Metal Gears V will partner up with Nvidia, scrapping the previously announced bundle pack with Batman: Arkham Knight. While the third installment of the Arkham series has found great success on consoles, its failure due to glitches and bugs on PC has turned Nvidia’s eyes toward another game.
The deal is not currently available, but it will be. It was claimed by an inside source of the company that the announcement was an accidental slip-up and it was never meant to make the news months before Metal Gears V: The Phantom Pain releases on September 1st.
While the latest Batman game has certainly sold well so far, the PC version still leaves something to be desired, and Metal Gears V seems to be the perfect option to fill that gap. With exceptional graphics displayed in trailers and gameplay videos, many believe that the fifth installment of the Metal Gears franchise will be a true feast for the eyes.
However, it has yet to be revealed which of the Nvidia models it will be paired with, although the small glimpses indicates that it will require high end performances in order to capture the stunning visualization the game promises.
The only hope from gamers all around is that the release date will remain steady for early September of this year, as Metal Gears game producers Konami have recently parted ways with famous game writer and designer Hideo Kojima.
The franchise lately underwent a good measure of drama when fans of the series have observed Kojima Production’s name scrapped off the boxes and removed from all games as if it was never there. The change hinted at a serious issue coming in between the company and Kojima, which might be parting ways with the company at the end of his contract.
However, no fan is expecting the game designer to leave all his work as legacy without future projects. With many titles under his belt, Kojima is expected to create his own publishing studious and has brought fans from all around one single title in mind: Silent Hill.
The highly anticipated game has been cancelled after announcing cooperation with actor Norman Reedus (The Walking Dead) to voice and portray the main character, and famous director Guillermo Del Toro.
Perhaps under his own publishing company, Kojima might want to finish the work he’d already started and gained the interest of many gamers worldwide.
