New Hearthstone expansion pack announced has fans excited and guessing at what the new cards might look like. The new expansion was announced during the BlizzCon 2015 opening ceremony by Blizzard Entertainment.

The new expansion pack will be called the League of Explorers and will contain new cards and a new mechanic called “Explorer”. It’s a great time to announce the new expansion pack as the Hearthstone game platform has just hit 40 million players.
For enthusiastic fans, the news couldn’t be better. Not only has the new expansion been confirmed, they won’t have to wait too long to get it either, as it’s set to arrive on both PCs and mobile devices on November the 12th. Users will be able to buy the entire content of the League of Explorers pack for $20 or each of the four wings separately at the price of $7 or 700 gold coins for each wing.
The four wings will be released one at a time, with a new wing being offered each week except for Thanksgiving week. The cards are said to feature four new characters described as “intrepid adventurers”: Elise Starseeker, Reno Jackson, Sir Finley Mrrgglton, and Brann Bronzebeard. There are also 45 new cards to collect from this new addition to the Hearthstone universe.
The four wings of cards will also include new puzzles and traps, bosses and mysteries, according to the representatives at Blizzard Entertainment. In between the new cards that the pack has, there will also be a few new legendary cards that users can try to collect. Legendary cards are the rarest cards in the game and are prized by players for their unique and powerful features. Not to mention they have great characters such as the famous and hilarious Leroy Jenkins.
In addition the the exciting cards, the League of Explorers expansion pack will also feature some new class challenges, more game boards and the intriguing new keyword Discover. For veteran game players, the pack also brings a new challenge in the shape of a new, especially difficult module called the Heroic Mode, which has been described as “extra-tough”.
The new pack also comes with a Forge Mode where the focus lies not only on the game itself but also on the actual building of the card deck. Aside from that, it offers the ability for friendly duels between players and has been described as easily accessible to anyone wishing to play it, whether they are familiar with the Warcraft universe or not.
