Orlando Hospitals will not take money from the Pulse survivors

There are many things happening at the moment, but it is nice to know that some people are doing their best to help the others. According to the latest news Orlando Health and Florida Hospital will not bill survivors of the Pulse nightclub massacre.

• The hospitals decided that any surgery that will come for them it will be free.

Moreover, the  hospitals are going to spend 5.5 million dollars for taking care of those patients. David Strong, Orlando Health President said that what happened there was a tragedy for the victims, families and the entire community. Many organizations showed their support in helping the hospital with the survivors of that night.

The main hospital treated 44 of the 50 victims who survived in the nightclub. Nine patients died after they arrived at the hospital. You should know that their families will not be charged either. After the massacre of June 12, 49 people lost their lives. Orlando Health will send the bills to health insurers. Those who had not health insurance should not be worried. The hospital will absorb their bills.

Meanwhile, at the Florida Hospital, the situation is similar. However, this hospital will not bill the victims’ insurance companies. It does not matter if there will more surgeries to do because the hospital will take care of them for free. Daryl Tol, Florida Hospital CEO said that they hope that gesture could add to the heart than defines Orlando.

We must say we are impressed by how the community managed to take care of the victims. The Pulse shooting had no sense and it affected the lives of hundreds of people. Imagine this: you go to a nightclub to have fun and somebody comes and starts shooting people.  All the patients were worried how they are going to pay back the hospital. The bills were expensive and their income was not so great.

We are hoping that these incidents will not happen in the past. People can’t just go around and kill others. There so many young people in the nightclub and their life will never be the same. We should understand that every human has the right to choose what he/she likes. Once again, we are really impressed by the decision made by that two hospitals. We are hoping to hear good news from the survivors in the future.
