The Leonid cosmic meteor shower is described as one of the most beautiful with the meteor particles falling like rain. The rates of the meteor shower are as high as thousands per minute. The next episode of the Leonid meteor shower is not expected before the turn of the century.

The Leonids are considered a minor meteor shower with a peak rate of10 to 15 meteors per minute. Since the moon phase is waning, it will be a prime time to view the meteor shower. So keep your fingers crossed
