On November 3rd, Microsoft will be releasing an Xbox One + ‘Rise of the Tomb Raider’ console bundle. Each user interested in purchasing the console, and so far doesn’t own it, will have a chance to play the game ahead of its launch on November 10th. According to reports, the bundle will be exclusive to Best Buy and, of course, Microsoft stores in the United States.
The bundle will come with a much needed 1TB hard drive that’s surely needed for avid games in this day and age. With downloadable copies and codes taking over, storage space will become more crucial than before. Videogames have already reached an average of 30GB in size for most of them.
Those interested in the Xbox One and ‘Rise of the Tomb Raider’ pairing will also get their hands on the ‘Tactical Survival Kit Pack’ that presents with a new outfit and weapon for the protagonist.
The bundle will present with download codes for both the ‘Rise of the Tomb Raider’, and its critically acclaimed prequel ‘Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition’. This will allow players to have the full story along with a new Xbox One, and play through a long adventure of Lara Croft’s thrilling story.
The ‘Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition’ was presented by game developer Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics as the reboot, after the game was originally released in 2013. It was given several improvements, with better graphics and smoother gameplay that can take advantage of the advanced hardware of next-gen console.
It has been described as ‘decent quality’ as far as tweaks are concerned.
The Xbox One + ‘Rise of the Tomb Raider’ will be coming at the beginning of November, with the starting price of $349. It’s set to be just one of the many bundles to come from Microsoft. It should be noted that the company has snagged the new adventures of Lara Croft as a time exclusive on their console.
It will officially release one week later as a standalone copy for Xbox One, and PC users will have to wait until early 2016 to play through the action/adventure game. For PlayStation 4, the wait is going to be even longer, with Sony expected to launch it sometime around the holiday season of 2016.
