This Texas woman’s skincare routine reportedly helped her get rid of acne in about a month without any invasive dermatological treatments. The woman claims that she has developed the skincare routine on her own with products she now cannot live without.
Michele Hoang old her fans her skin tends to be oily and this is why she has been battling acne since her teen years. She even posted some images of her inflamed, acne-ravaged skin before and after the treatment. And the results were spectacular.
Her secret? A customized skin routine she recently shared on Twitter.
Hoang insists cleansing is very important:
- She applies Aveeno’s Clear Complexion Foaming Facial Cleanser twice a day to remove makeup.
- About twice a week, Hoang exfoliates her face with this exfoliating mask from Skinfood.
After cleansing, the woman uses her ‘favorite cream’ for acne-prone skin: Keeva Tea Tree Oil Acne Treatment Cream. Hoang claims that the cream is fantastic since it removes the bumps on her cheeks and forehead in no time. Her parents use the cream too and they no longer have skin issues.
The woman also unveiled that in the mornings, she uses Complexion Rescue from BareMineral’s as foundation. On the days when breakouts keep spurring, she uses Clean & Clear Advantage Acne Spot Treatment on a cleansed skin and covers the breakout with a round band-aid, which prevents her from touching the pimple.
The woman insists she is not affiliated with any skincare brand, but her skincare routine, which has gone viral, is the product of trial and error. The routine seems to be effective as she has almost-flawless skin despite her acne issues.
Experts caution that while the products work for Hoang, not every skin may benefit from them since the causes of acne are different from one person to another.
