May 11, 2018 by Jakob Nielsen Leave a Comment

Mugshot of Jacqueline Ades A 31-year-old woman from Arizona who stalked a man she met online for several months and sent him up to 500 texts per day was arrested this week. The woman faces multiple charges after breaking into the man’s home and taking a bath.

  • The man told the police that he received around 65,000 texts from Jacqueline Ades over the months she was stalking him.
  • In some days, she sent as many as 500 text messages per day.

The man met Ades on a dating website and dated her last year. Ades started stalking and harassing him after their first date. The Paradise Valley Police Department confirmed that they had been notified at least four times about the woman heading to the man’s home or office from July 2017 and May 2018.

Last month, the man had to call the police to report that the woman broke into his home. He was not in the country at the time, but he could see her through surveillance video.

When officers arrived, they found Ades in the residence taking a bath,

Paradise Valley Police said in a statement.

Woman Acting Irrationally

Officers also found a butcher knife in her car. They arrested the woman and charged her with trespass and stalking. After she was released, she started threatening the man via more texts, saying that “harm may come” to him.

She threatened him not to “ever” leave her or she would kill him. “I don’t wanna be a murderer,” one text message read.

The police said that they were called to the man’s business place on May 4. The man reported that Ades was “acting irrationally” and told everyone that she was his wife. When police officers interviewed the woman about the business, she insisted that she was the wife of the owner.

On May 8, police arrested her and charged her with harassment, threatening, and stalking.
