The much-awaited PS4 game will soon arrive on the market, giving fans many more reasons to praise the developing art of the game producer, Capcom. Unlike the previous versions, Street Fighter V features new fighting techniques that will most likely meet players’ expectations.
Capcom has been releasing a new version for its PC and PS4 game every year since 2008, when the gaming platform was first introduced on the market. Yet, the developer claims the Street Fighter 4 version is nothing compared to the new model that is about to hit store shelves.
Tech analysts have had the opportunity to preview the game and they have all concluded that the most noteworthy difference resides in the new fighting techniques and skills that have been added to characters. However, each and every character has a unique array of skills, which makes it stand out from the rest of the characters.
We haven’t found out yet why the developing company chose to provide the Street Fighter V characters with different fighting systems. The only explanation we could think of was that the game producer is trying to personalize its characters and thus, determine players to attach themselves to one particular character to the detriment of the others.
On the other hand, the move might have been simply made so Capcom would feature diversified characters. This way, players can improve their fighting skills, they can take different approaches of the same game and they would never get bored.
There are four major types of fighting modes, namely, V-Skill, V-Trigger, V-Meter and V-Reversal. The V-Skill capabilities presuppose that the character catches the projectile of the opponent and then, send it back as its own projectile. Chun-Li is the character that uses this technique to battle; her jumping arc has become much lower and wider because she needs to be able to evade projectiles.
V-Trigger abilities, on the other hand, have been added among the skills of Ryu and Cammy. The former is, thus, capable of turning his hands electric for added power, whereas Cammy increases the speed and impact of her hits.
While less impressive, the other two fighting abilities will most likely prove themselves useful during the game. V-Meter gives M. Bison and Nash different teleportation methods. V-Reversal techniques allow characters to block and attack opponents at the same time, thus causing them damages.
Capcom has further disclosed that the new Street Fight V game will be officially released on the market in March 2016. The version will be available for PlayStation 4 and PC and it will most likely be improved with additional beta updates.
