IBM employees claim that they are trying to determine a cancer treatment. Starting with next year, workers from IBM will have the chance to use brand new and revolutionary technology like the one provided by Watson supercomputer to develop clinical trials for cancer. Kyu Rhee, who is a chief health officer at IBM Watson Health, argued that persons who got diagnosed with cancer are in great pain, being overwhelmed by their state of health. They need support from their team.
- IBM employees will benefit from particular cancer help.
- A new technology called Watson’s computer will probably determine a treatment.
She has also mentioned that this new technology which will soon be available in the US would provide the diversity of Watson’s services ready to help their patients. The company did not establish how many of its employees will receive attentive care through the revolutionary technology. IBM has approximately 377,000 employees in the world. Officials of the company asserted that a vast amount of the medical help would be covered by their health plans.
This famous company underlines the simple resources needed to be used to undermine the most attentive patient care: it is impossible for scientists to keep track of all the studies ever conducted on cancer cells, from the beginning of medicine until present days. That is why the help of a computer which can track down all these researches comes in hand.
Different cancer cells can develop and modify themselves in various ways, being influenced by several genetic factors. Watson’s supercomputer will be available to select the exact cure for the specified symptoms of the patient. Every patient who develops a unique trait to a particular type of cancer will also need a unique treatment.
Watson’s technology will be suitable for linking the symptoms experienced by a patient with the needed treatment, making sure the issues which were specified will decrease during the treatment period. Rhee declared that the artificial intelligence of this outstanding computer will not only provide doctors with all the researches ever documented but will also generate a very detailed second opinion. The computer’s second judgment will be based on the symptoms that define the uniqueness of every patient’s cancer.
The IBM technology is bound to help a lot of cancer center, and support groups meant to bring help to those in need. Don’t you believe that this newly implemented technology is prone to save the lives of so many people suffering from cancer? Do you think that there are only a few steps till a cancer treatment is produced?
