The microblogging company has recently disclosed that they will provide advertisers with new useful options allowing them to better monitor users’ interactions with the advertised products. As of today, Twitter introduces advertisers to 3 new direct marketing tools.
Twitter is now getting re-organized, so there are many tools and options that customers have to get used to. The most recent announcement that the social network has made saw the introduction of three new direct marketing tools, which will be tested in the following period by renowned marketing companies.
According to the spokespersons of the company, advertisers will now be able to inform users of potential products they may be launching through videos. The Twitterverse is now compatible with vide- files, too.
So far, marketing campaigns could only use pictures to attract Twitter users, but this method did not allow companies to get a clear picture of their customers’ engagement. Moreover, the picture was not attractive enough to stimulate consumers to click on the link or to download the advertised app; hence, the need to insert video files.
Advertising companies will also benefit of additional bidding options, so they can better organize their budgets. According to Twitter’s official declaration, advertising customers may choose to pay when customers click the ad or when they download a certain online product.
There is also the possibility of bidding for advertising space, the company has also stated. Marketers can offer themselves to pay a certain amount of money to those who agree to install apps after viewing the ads.
The third tool that has been introduced is the marketing button. Unfortunately, this option is only available for mobile devices and it will be displayed next to the “Settings” icon. This simple tool makes it a lot easier for companies to keep an eye on their advertisements and to observe the engagement that ads trigger from Internet users.
This last feature is more compatible with iPhone 6 devices and above. Android users, as well as, iPhone 5 customers have to follow different instructions in order to get access to the new marketing tool. They will find the tools they need in the Setting menu of the social network.
Twitter is not only considering the necessities of advertising companies; they also pay attention to the needs of their users. For that matter, the social network has introduced a new ‘Birthday’ tool and has eliminated the 140-character limit that was initially imposed to its users.
