For the technological unlearned like I am, Apple Watch is just a small device in a giant pool of tech releases. Yes, it is a watch but it’s not exactly that, it’s a phone but not quite, it’s a browser though that screen it comes with doesn’t really support browsing.
The Apple Watch release was announced here and there and everywhere. Some guys in the media even started bragging about those third party apps not functioning as imagined. Also, it seems the new Apple juicy device has problems with the Map feature. The list can go on with critical reviews on what’s not yet working properly.
But if we come to think about it, it’s just a watch. It’s something you wrap around your wrist and even if it doesn’t do EVERYTHING a regular cell phone could, it does some tremendous tasks that that take off some burden off our shoulders.
First of all, we can synchronize calls with our iPhone. If we’re in a hurry, have our hands busy typing of holding things, a simple gaze and a touch of a button can spare us the time from looking for our phone in dark those and hidden places of our back or sack. Secondly, it allows you to navigate directions. There you have it, a GPS wrapped around your wrist. If your sense of orientation is lacking in logic, the wonder on your wrist does that for you.
Apple Watch seems to be the greatest in guiding directions by now. Better than the GPS that only works if you own a car or maybe a bike, better than the cell phone that keeps your hands busy. To get exactly the directions you’re looking for, you just need to set the watch and look at your wrist once in a while as some dim lights notify you when to turn left or right.
Another cool thing about Apple watch is the chat feature. You can be online on Facebook without literally holding anything in your hands, you just need to look at your hands and tap carelessly on the small screen of your device.
Great retail companies are working on Apps that allow you to browse through their list of items, choose and purchase without the need of a phone or a desktop. Also, you can pay your bills directly from the watch’s screen, as there are apps helping you do that too. You have SIRI at your service too, allowing to perform a great deal of tasks without reaching your phone.
All in all, the Apple Watch is the next generation of mobile phones, coming with the great advantage of leaving your hands free almost all the time. You can play soccer, cook food, walk your dogs or do anything you’d like while your watch sits silently on your wrist and performs tasks on its own. Apart from everything that doesn’t go smooth, blame it on novelty, the Apple Watch is something everyone should try for themselves and see the difference.
