Apple TV, better apps for Apple Watch, Apple HomeKit and much more will be revealed these days during the WWDC Conference, taking place in San Francisco.
Company representatives offer sneak peeks into the program of the conference that will unveil all pieces of novelty getting set and ready to roll out on the table and make our experience with technology even greater.
For starters, Apple TV will be the new hub for your digital home, coming along with the promise that will be both private and secure.
Furthermore, a lot of startups have announced their partnership with Apple in launching HomeKit related items, that will turn your house into a more controlled and safe environment. Apple has recently published a new guide for setting up and using HomeKit enabled accessories with iOS devices that will receive the “works with Apple Homekit” stamp.
The connected devices around your home will be easily controlled through Siri and you will also be able to use the Apple TV running OS 7 to control all home appliances with the revolutionary Apple HomeKit.
Speaking of Apple TV, fans and aficionados have been waiting for an update that seems to be on hold for more than two years now. Upgrades are still awaited to come with improved remote controls and a developer toolkit that enables you to create apps for the device. However, new versions are not ready yet and Apple holds the lines until something great and revolutionary will be developed in terms of their Apple TV service. Leaks reveal that a video-on-demand streaming service that will rival the likes of Netflix or HBO could appear, but next year only.
News don’t stop here, as Apple now tries to unify all devices by enabling owners to log in with a single Apple ID on an iOS device and Apple TV also, while remotely controlling Siri to manage locks, lights and smart plugs. An Apple Watch update is awaited also, to make it easier on yourself to control your home devices through Apple technology.
Speaking of the Apple Watch, Tim Cook declares that this is a priority for the company, in developing more apps onto the watch. This must happen somewhere in the near future, as the consumer demand for the new product exceeds supply, although clear and realistic figures on sales reports haven’t yet been revealed.
Apple Watch needs improvement and a closer to perfection perspective, as critics have appeared in regards to the heart rate monitor that only works when one stands still. Any movement of the body makes the monitor run errors and as this was one of the main features of the devices, improvement is necessary.
All in all, The Apple WWDC Conference is set to offer some precious updates on the plans this giant company has for the future. Whether the emphasis will lay upon the exciting HomeKit, Apple Watch or Apple TV, we will keep our eyes wide open and our ears tied to all the information that will soon roll out to listeners and fans.
