Jeb Bush was invited to take part at the Wednesday’s forum held by the Libre Initiative. The event triggered the interest of many U.S. viewers as audience reports have subsequently proven. The show was all the more entertaining when Jeb Bush was asked to name his favorite American superhero.
The presidential candidate initially laughed, proving that the question puzzled him to a certain extent. The American politician has eventually confessed that he is a fan of traditional American figures, that he will remain faithful to traditional U.S. figures like Batman.
Trying to keep up the pace with the younger generations, Jeb Bush added that he is familiar with the new CBS series “Supergirl”. He actually confessed that he saw the former “Glee” actress, Melissa Benoist during a recent episode. Jeb Bush catalogued the actress as “kinda hot” and then, went on to say that she is “pretty hot”.
The presidential candidate made the entire audience laugh including Daniel Graza, a former member of the George W. Bush administration and the moderator of the current discussion, who responded by saying that he will try to quickly move to the new question. Bush laughed as he knew that his answer will make headlines and admitted that he dug himself in a hole.
Superheroes were not the only tackled subject at the Libre initiative event. On the contrary, Jeb Bush used the Wednesday’s event to prove his support for Latin America. He even started discussions in Spanish because he wanted to let the public know that he studied Latin Affairs at the University of Texas. As if this confession was not enough to prove his eligibility for the presidential position, he went on to say that he even had a Latin American affair and the woman became his wife, Columba.
In spite of the criticism he gets from opponent Donald Trump, Jeb Bush continues to emphasize his connection with the Hispanic community. This is the strategy that the Florida Governor plans to use to get Hispanic voters’ support.
The event gave Bush the opportunity to name some of the reforms and measures that he plans to put into practice once he will be elected president of the United States. The superhero question was asked at the end of the discussion to confer a more informal note to the entire event. Bush concluded by saying that he loves old-school superheroes so much that he is sometimes jealous he does not owe Marvel Comics, the producer of the famous comic series.
