The new browser will initially block all ad-related contents.
As more on more people keep complaining about their broadband dropping due to pesky ads, one bold entrepreneur has decided it’s high time someone did something about this issue. No, we are not talking about a new version of the ever-popular AdBlock, but about a whole new browser which addresses the issue of bad internet advertising. Brave paves the way for a brave new internet experience.
- Brave was designed by Brendan Eich, the man behind Firefox;
- Currently, the browser is running the 0.7 version;
- Brave will eliminate ads and will block internet advertising companies from pushing ads based on your personal searches;

According to its designer, Brave, the latest thing in internet browsing is 1.4 times faster than other PC browsers and about 4 times faster than any smartphone browser. The new internet surfing platform was designed by Brendan Eich, the man behind Firefox.
Although the browser isn’t out of the docks yet, Eich and his team believe that it will greatly improve the browsing experience. Using a small company with about 10 employees, Eich wants to address the issue of privacy.
The entrepreneur declared that there are many companies out there who take advantage of user’s search string in order to push forward any number of ads. The manager of the San Francisco-based company does not agree with this method and pledged to do anything in his power in order to limit the ad content from pages.
According to his statements, in the first phase of the project, Brave will eliminate any ad-related content from web pages. And, as the company gains support and funding, they will let a limited number of firms use the platform in order to advertise their products.
Moreover, as part of his quest for a better browsing experience, Brendan Eich declared that the company will also roll out subscriptions. This means that paying users can have ads removed from their browsers.
Presently, Brave is still under work, but according to the company, it will be launched very soon on the market. The internet platform is currently running the 0.7 version, but it still managed to set a couple of records. According to the team of developers, the new browser can boost the browsing speed by 1.4 times for PCs and 4 times for smartphones running the Brave browser.
