You know there are days when it is so hot outside and all you want to do is stay near an electric fan, with an ice-tea and enjoy summer. However, electric fans seem to be dangerous for older people. According to a study made by researchers from the University of Texas, these electronic gadgets are dangerous for older people. They are dealing elevations in heart rate and their temperature.
- Electric fans are dangerous for older people during summer days.
- They should use the electric fans less because they could develop heart issues.
Researchers used a data of 3 men and 6 women volunteers. The men were wearing shorts and women had shorts and a sports bra. They sat in a room that had 108 degrees. After 30 minutes, relative humidity increased 2 percent every 5 minutes. Participants did the study with or without electric fans near them and they did not drink any water during the tests. Doctors also measured the heart rate and sweat loss.
Researchers discovered that people who used electric fans had a greater heart rate. The differences were small, but, in time, it could become more important. The study shows that fans can be dangerous for our cardiovascular health and older people should pay more attention before using them.
Doctors think that during the hottest days, older people should drink a lot of water and stay in places where the sun is not able to get so easy. Moreover, you could go to the shopping center near you or to the library. There will be more air conditioners that will make you feel better and you can also enjoy a great time doing your favourite things. Another solution would be to go to the park. Take a blanket with you, sit under a tree while having a good time. There are a lot of options instead of using the electric fans.
If the researchers are right, older people could be in danger more than we think. We could say that nothing wrong can happen if we use an electric fan, but when we are older, we are exposed to more health issues. There are more ways to stay cool during the summer days.

While this may be the first purely Nintendo mobile game, Nintendo, in conjunction with Game Freak, released “Pokemon Shuffle Mobile” a year or more ago and as far as I have seen, play continues at a good pace.
