British scientists will soon be able to develop medical experiments in zero gravity.

British scientists will soon be allowed to conduct medical experiments in zero gravity. They are bound to conduct studies in space due to new laws which were recently submitted, building the ground for a new era of scientific research. Based on the data provided by the UK Space Agency, the new laws and the funds will help Britain develop its first spaceport by the end of 2020.

  • British scientists will soon be able to develop medical experiments in space.
  • New regulations which were adopted will help them start a new era of space exploration.
  • They will create new vaccines and antibiotics.

The space agency claimed that these regulations which are meant to pave the way towards fulfilling a nation’s dream would help British scientists to conduct medical experiments in zero gravity to help at the advancement of medicine. Thus, they will be able to develop cures and treatments for tough illnesses. The development of a spaceport will definitely help Britain to launch its own satellites.

What is more, they are also bound to undergo horizontal flights reaching the edge of space to enable scientific experiments. Lord Ahmad, the Aviation Minister, stated that they have never launched a spaceship from the UK.  Their purpose is to facilitate competitive and safe access to the cosmos from the UK to be at the forefront of a revolutionary space-age.

The UK government is currently waiting to receive more funding, but also proposals regarding space launches from commercial space businesses, trying to fuel the development of Britain’s space industry. The new regulations will trigger the evolution of medical and scientific research. Specialists will be allowed to examine the development and behavior of antibiotics and vaccines in cosmos.

All these treatments will have a different evolution due to the fact that they are developed in zero gravity. The future spaceflight might also help scientists conduct several vital scientific studies regarding particular medical issues, such as aging in microgravity. The proposed bill was announced earlier this month by the Department of Business, Energy, and Industrial Strategy. It will provide about $10m for the commercial spacecraft industry of the United Kingdom to develop medical studies in space.

This funding is also bound to build several new jobs in various fields of activity like tourism, hospitality, construction, and engineering. Jo Johnson, the Science Minister, claimed that the launch of the Spaceflight Bill would help British reinforce the position of their country as one of the world leaders in the engineering market.
