Activision leaked some information on the new Call of Duty WW2

On Friday, Activision announced the release of a new Call of Duty game, WW2. Some information has already leaked regarding the release date, the gameplay, and several other details. The Sledgehammer Games shooter will most surely have all fans of the genre excited.

Other Call of Duty games used to be released on Fridays, so a rumor suggests that the date set for WWII would be November 3rd, as it falls on a Friday. Also, some sources succeeded in obtaining a short description of the setting and the action of the game.

  • The game might follow the Call of Duty tradition of Friday releases
  • It will feature realistic graphics and maps containing all historical locations
  • A co-op will offer players a new story

Thus, the game begins in Normandy, on D-Day, when you reach the French shore and start your adventure all across Europe. The storyline features all iconic points and events present in World War II, allowing you to give a personal take to all battles you will experience. A line in the description perfectly outlines the typical Call of Duty atmosphere which entwines with the shocking experiences of war.

“Experience classic Call of Duty combat, the bonds of camaraderie, and the unforgiving nature of war against a global power throwing the world into tyranny.”

The impressive graphics will offer the gamers a realistic experience of what war was like, with map designs including all key locations of World War II. Moreover, the community features are now improved. Activision announced how the players will be able to socialize more in new ways.

Other rumors suggest that Call of Duty WW2 will feature a co-op which would provide an “original story”. Thus, this represents a separate storyline which will bring you unexpected turns and exciting adventures. Also, if you preorder the game, you will benefit from a special beta version.

However, most of this information represents rumors, and Activision did not confirm much of it. Next week, they will broadcast a special livestreaming where they will announce more on Call of Duty WW2. Until then, you can prepare for the special moment by playing some other COD titles and reliving the atmosphere of the game, which will be prominent in the new title as well.
