"Ubisoft Confirms Beta Tests for The Division"

The game is set to launch on the 8th of March, and it will feature a completely alien setting.

With only 2 months remaining until the big release, gamers around the globe are anxious to see how the latest installment of the game fares. Ubisoft confirms beta for The Division, meaning that whoever pre-order a copy of Tom Clancy’s The Division is eligible to participate in the upcoming beta tests.

  • Ubisoft rolled out an alpha test for the game during Christmas;
  • Users will have to test their skills in a post-apocalyptic environment;
  • Gamers who preordered the game have access to the Hazmat gear;
  • Tom Clancy’s The Division is set to launch on the 8th of March;
  • The game combines RPS, FPS and RTT elements;
  • The division will be available on several platform.

Each day, more and more leaked footages of the new game are available on the Internet. From what we could piece together from several sources, it would seem that the new game has a plot twist.

This means that the player will have to engage in the same types of operations, but this time not in a familiar environment, so to say.

What does that mean exactly? Well, according to Ubisoft, it would seem that The Division wants to aim higher this time. And this being the time of post-apocalyptical sceneries, why not combine the game’s mechanics with a twisted storyline?

Yes, as we are led to believe, the plot of Tom Clancy’s The Division takes us to a post-apocalyptical New York. According to the narrative, a couple of years into the future, all the major cities in the world are hit by a pandemic, leaving them deserted.

With services and systems dropping like flies, it’s up to the boys from the special division to identify and neutralize any threats.

As stated, each gamer who went ahead and preorder the game will be eligible to participate in the beta testing session of the game, which will take place probably before the then game will come out. Moreover, those lucky enough to buy the game will also receive the Hazmat package which includes the Go Back health booster, the Hazmat suit and, of course, the P416 automatic assault rifle.

Ubisoft confirms beta tests for The Division and everyone is excited to see how the new game will be in comparison with its other siblings.

Location-wise, according to Ubisoft, the users will have access to several new features, including abandoned train stations, deserted city streets and safe house, which can be used to restock ammo and to have a friendly chit-chat.

The game will be launched on the 8th of March and will come in groups of three: gold, collector’s edition and standard. Also, Tom Clancy’s The Division will be compatible with PS4, PC and Xbox One.
