After the inauguration of the new president, the Trump administration is said to support the development of Mars missions. Donald Trump has previously expressed his interest regarding the colonization mission on Mars. During one of their meetings, Trump together with Elon Musk, the founder of SpaceX and the CEO of Tesla, have discussed possible partnership regarding Mars exploration.

Trump has talked about public-private collaborations with Elon Musk during the alleged meeting. Musk is known to have long thought about Mars exploration, and he has expressed his wish for colonization for a long time now.
His dreams of developing a colony on Mars were long debated by specialists in the field. If everything goes as planned, SpaceX is bound to set off in the first human journey to Mars in 2024. Musk was never afraid of being ridiculed when expressing his desires and envisions regarding the idea that people may inhabit the Red Planet. Even if many people believe that his strange ideas are impossible to become real, he keeps on working on his dreams.
Elon Musk believed that Mars colonization would be possible during the next 40 to a hundred years. The Trump administration may also want to insert a new trip to the Moon when setting off for Mars. Nevertheless, Donald Trump and Elon Musk differ when it comes to political views. Musk is bound to include in his plan the development of a fleet of immense spacecraft which could be able to transport a considerable number of humans to Mars.
Trump has also mentioned the Apollo program, discussing how the success back then brought everyone together in the 1960s. Some secure sources argued that Trump has expressed his interest in a Moon mission, supporting John F. Kennedy’s idea of sending an astronaut to the surface of the moon. It is surprising how the US is the only country which managed until now to plan a Mars mission and a new moon mission.
