Game of Thrones is closer than ever to the tragic season finale that is likely to leave fans in extreme awe for even a two-year break! Nonetheless, The Dragon and the Wolf will be the lengthiest episode of all with official duration of 79 minutes and 43 seconds. The short yet full of the content trailer for season finale reveals how all lead players of the throne game are meeting face to face for the first time in six years.
Season Finale May Hide Juicy Hints in the Title
First off, the title of the season seven finale of Game of Thrones can hide a lot of juicy hints on what it is going to happen. The most obvious explanation is that the heirs of the House Stark and House Targaryen will finally make a display of allegiance, possibly in a more passionate way.
However, the title can refer to another historic pair within the Game of Thrones lore. The dragon and the wolf can actually represent Lyana Stark and Rhaegar Targaryen who are the true parents of Jon. If this is true, the season finale might finally reveal to Jon Snow his true heritage.
The Kings Landing Is Going to Witness Some Deadly Sparks Coming from the Meeting of All Key Characters of This Universe
The dramatic teaser is also revealing the most important meeting of the year that will feature the first display of a wight for non-believers. However, this is just a pretext. The Kings Landing’s gathering will include all key players in this fictional universe that is still alive or at least undead.
Therefore, there will be three camps. These include team Lannister, team Stark, and team Targaryen with two armies and two dragons. From what we’ve learned in the past, when there are so many legendary characters in one place there’s likely to witness some fatal sparks.
Each of the teams has at least one candidate for the much coveted Iron Throne. There’s only common sense to think that at least some of them would jump to a rash decision to assure the throne for themselves.
Nonetheless, as Sunday’s episode is the season finale, it will surely deliver an explosive twist of events that will leave fans waiting in agony for months until Season 8. Whether a key player loses his or her life, the Wall collapses or another tragic event that escaped all Game of Thrones theories happens, it is bound to leave a major impact behind.
