The Noble Prize laureates from this year are eager to have open borders, regarding all scientists who need to gather together for the sake of science and knowledge. They have argued the problem of anti-immigration in the US and Europe. To discover revolutionary things, they need to meet other brilliant researchers who wish to share their knowledge. The Noble Prize winners had spoken in the name of every other scientist when arguing that open borders will benefit to the advancement of science.
- All Noble Prize winners from this year are immigrants.
- The Nobel Prize laureates had discussed the problem of immigration and poor chances.
Out of the Nobel laureates from this year, six of them who belonged to the US are immigrants. They need to leave their country to broaden their possibilities of studying more about a particular matter they were interested in. Scientists needed to take advantage of the technology which was available only in certain countries.
Five of these laureates were born in the United Kingdom, and the sixth was coming from Finland. These illustrious people managed to establish in the US and to evolve, occupying important positions at universities like the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Northwestern University, and Princeton University. The group consisting of those five British scientists was very vocal when it came to immigration. Another topic discussed by them was the decision of their country to leave the European Union. That was their last resort in using borderless science, at least in Europe.
Sir James Fraser Stoddart, who won the Nobel Prize in Chemistry and who is also a Professor of the Northwestern University, argued that the most important message that should be going round the world is that science and the wish to enrich knowledge are global. The entire planet should contribute to the advancement of technology and to medical discoveries which are to save humanity.
Authorities should think of a possibility to let knowledgeable people travel wherever they need to to discover and make use of materials that could help develop beneficial studies and treatments meant to help everybody. We are all aware of the differences in technology that are present in different countries. It is unfair for those brilliant minds who are born in less developed societies to never reach their goal.
Would you support and vote for the idea that scientists need to use the best technology to obtain best results in every field of action?
